Welcome to the First Half of Day 3 of CCM 2026!!
Howdy everyone and welcome to Day 3 of the 2026 Climate Change-Makers Challenge!!
We have a day packed full of some awesome events, mentorship, and workshops for y'all ahead. As always, the link for the Day can be found on our events schedule (linked here). Each of the workshops and mentorship sessions attended today is also eligible for bonus points! If you are unable to make a workshop, please reach out to the organizer team for the recording as we will be doing our best to record them.
Our first session: Starting with Why & Storytelling starts in just over 5 minutes (5 am EDT, 9 am GMT, 2:30 pm IST) led by our Executive Director Shitangshu Roy. Shitangshu is the Executive Director at YIC, President & Co-Founder at One4Earth, and so much more. He is a Serial eNGOpreneur and truly emobodies the spirit of CCM in everything he does! During this workshop we will go over communicating your purpose, digging into our rubric, and giving you a chance to get advice on your pitch! This is a workshop we highly recommend attending and is crucial to your project submission!
Our second session talks about systems thinking and intersectionality in how we address problems. For those who attended or may have missed out on yesterday's Stakeholder Research session, this session is one you definitely don't want to miss This session is called Systems Thinking and it is being held at 9 am EDT (1 pm GMT, and 6:30 pm IST).
This morning from 10-11:30 am EST, we also have a fantastic mentor who is excited to meet with some of y'all! Judy holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Carleton University and has worked across multiple high‑tech startups. She currently serves as a Director and Political Advisor for Stop Ecocide Canada, contributes to federal policy development, and facilitates workshops in remote First Nations communities. She brings a blend of technical, strategic, and community‑focused experience to every project she supports.You definitely don't want to miss the chance to book a mentorship session with Judy!
Next up after we have our third session: Climate's Link to Contemporary Issues where you can hear from some incredible guest speakers on how climate change intersects with current and contemporary issues. This panel will be held at Noon EDT (4 pm GMT, 9:30 pm IST).
