Next Steps & Logistics!

Howdy CCM!   YOU DID IT!! Amazing work & SO excited for our team & judges to review submissions. A few things on our end are below: :slightly_smiling_face:   So, WHAT'S NEXT? Key Things:

  • We're going to be giving a REVIEW OF ROUND 1 SUBMISSIONS over the April 6th-April 10th week.
  • You'll be submitting the TEAM BONUS POINTS AND EVALUATION FORM by April 8th. This form is where you'll be noting the bonus point codes from our workshops as well as giving us feedback so that we can make the event the best it can be! If you have any questions related to some of the bonus point codes or were unable to attend due to timezones, please reach out to the organizing team via email. 
  • We'll be doing a last call for CERTIFICATION INTEREST (SO many peeps doing it BTW) on April 8th. Just by attending a mentorship call, some of our workshops, and submitting a project, you already have a significant portion of this completed!

 

And then is the GRAND FINALS, tentatively scheduled for Sunday, April 26th @ 10 AM EST = 3 PM GMT = 8:30 PM IST. Links on this and more details to be sent later.
  • And then, WHO KNOWS? Some of you I expect will continue your project. Some will pivot. Some will use these learnings to grow as climate professionals on the frontlines of a green transition. Others will advocate for those principles but in their own spheres.
  • But ALL of you will be LEADERS, each in your unique and special ways. And it's because of that last fact that we will have HOPE and I believe a very real chance, in this climate fight.
  • And so, THANK YOU all again for giving your time. Your energy. Your experiences. Your passions. To addressing the most important existential crisis of our time. It has been great fun being a part of this community & am so especially grateful to our team, in our CCM lead Jessica, Gurjashan, Myrah, Shitangshu, the rest of our organizing team & the 40+ mentors/ judges/ guests we had join, for making this happen.

Moving forward then,it will be a journey, not just for you CCM-ers. But for humanity as a whole. But TOGETHER, we can— we must— protect our too-beautiful & precious MOTHER EARTH.

CCM will always be an event that is near and dear to my heart, seeing the passion you folks showed is truly inspiring. Getting to connect with such incredible folks like yourselves helps me realize that together we can make such a difference and thank you to all of you who came out to our workshops, mentorship, and more. On behalf of the organizing team, I want to extend a huge thank you to y'all and together we truly can change the world!
